EDUCATION IS THE FOUNDATION OF THIS INITIATIVE AND THE ONE THAT HAS TAKEN MOST OF OUR TIME

WHY EDUCATION

Giveton and I have both spoken with Wynton Marsalis multiple times. Recently, he gave me his respects and shared deep insight.

In short: we will have a renaissance fusing jazz, art and technology, for those who choose to have one.

We all choose how we spend our time and resources, how we live our lives, who we vote for - right now, social media doesn’t truly provide “freedom of choice”, and consumership is highly narrated by corporations, deciding what we focus on, think about, and ultimately see and believe about the world around us.

I believe that most people, once they understand that AI has been here for over a decade, will prefer to live their lives less at the hands of centralized social media and corporate narratives, and will prefer community driven standards that reflect somewhat of a curated and chosen corporate culture.

So my goal is to share knowledge so that everyone - fan or artist - can make an informed decision on how to live their lives and on what type of society they would like to live in, and jazz music provides that blank canvas to do so.

WHAT IS THE PLAN IN EDUCATION?

The Modern Jazz Institute and our social media presence is the start, and will continue.

In the next year we will start discussions with Key Opinion Leaders from around the world.

The Institute has had many discussions with Grammy winning artists, Deans of schools, faculty members of schools, pioneers in the arts and jazz, Ministries of Education, large corporations and institutions on how to take jazz education in the right direction.

Keep your ears and eyes open.

PARTNER WITH US TO EDUCATE

If you are an educator, researcher, involved in AI, the Arts, improvisation, or related spaces, please get in touch here:

Our goal is to refresh the level of standards that jazz musicians hold for themselves, and spread them across different communities like wildfire, around the globe and we’re open to ideas on how to do that - we love to improvise.
