The Exercise

1. Choose a reference point of the same base note, such as C.
2. Play all the possible triads, including major, minor, augmented, diminished, and suspended, by going through the sequence in whole steps.
3. Once you have played all the triads with C as the base key, move up a whole step to D in any key and repeat the process.
4. Practice through different intervals to gradually build your understanding of how triads work and how they relate to each other.
